Dune: Awakening Mentors Guide: Where to Find Each Trainer and What They Unlock

Why mentors matter in Dune: Awakening
Dune: Awakening doesn’t force you into one discipline forever. You can unlock training across multiple schools by tracking down the right mentors and completing their starter or advanced tasks. The catch is that mentors are spread across trade posts, remote camps, and major hubs like Arrakeen and Harko Village, and most of them require proof before they teach you anything.
This guide is a clean directory of the mentors and quests from the original list, rewritten for clarity so it’s easy to follow in-game.
Mentor types and what to expect
Basic mentors
A basic mentor opens the discipline and gives access to the first part of its skill tree.
Advanced mentors
An advanced mentor expands the same discipline with higher-tier skills. Reaching them often involves paid travel and longer quest steps, so it’s best to plan these trips instead of doing them on impulse.

Ghavouri (Basic Trooper mentor)

Planning tips so mentor trips don’t waste your session
Stack your objectives when you fly
Paid flights to Arrakeen or Harko are usually worth it only when you stack multiple goals into the same trip: mentor, vendor stop, quest step, and any nearby unlocks.
If you’re short on currency and want to remove the grind barrier, this is the one place where extra funds directly save time: Dune: Awakening Solari delivery.
Don’t carry your entire stash
Most mentor quests push you through camps, caves, corridors, or PvP-adjacent routes. Going light reduces the cost of failure and makes your travel safer.
Advanced mentors hit harder when your character is already stable
If your goal is to unlock discipline power spikes quickly, it often makes sense to stabilize your level first and then do the travel-heavy mentor chain in one focused push: Dune: Awakening power leveling.
If you try to run that chain while your level and kit are still shaky, the session turns into recovery work instead of progression. Stabilize first, then commit to one clean push: fewer resets, fewer emergency vendor trips, and a much higher chance you finish the whole route while your momentum is still intact.
